Sounds fancy? It is. Artichoke (or in Latin: Cynara scolymus ) is more than just an Instagram-worthy vegetable. This powder is made from the whole plant—leaves and stems—and is packed with bitter compounds that support the liver, stimulate bile production, and boost digestion. Just what your dog needs when his tummy is... well, growling like a motorcycle in reverse.
So what does this green stuff do?
– Stimulates liver function
– Supports bile production (bye bye, fatty snack after-workout)
– Helps with gas and bloating
– Can contribute to healthier skin through detox
– Slightly diuretic: therefore good for the excretion of waste products
Artichoke powder has a distinct flavor (think: bitter, spicy), so:
Start with a pinch , then mix it thoroughly with the food (preferably wet or with a little water/kefir). Some dogs love it, while others need some time to get used to it. Mix and match with something tasty for picky eaters.
💡 Give it as a course of 2–6 weeks , followed by a break.
Dosage:
Small dog: ⅛ teaspoon (knife tip)
Medium dog: ¼ teaspoon
Large dog: ½ teaspoon
Maximum 1x daily.
